it is just a new situation. You do what you have to do to coach in today's atmosphere. I never in my 25 + years had a parents meeting before the season. Did not need to. I suppose if I were to return to coaching(no way) considering the climate I would consider it. the fact that you have to explain to parents that you are not yelling says volumes of some of the situations you and other coaches today see. but you do what you have to do.
