Coach, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I doubt many on this site would have a problem with your coaching style because we can tell by your passion for the game it would fit our kids desire to play. On the other hand some parents would probably take offense, their loss.
An expert, I guesss there are none because we all can find instances through our role as "armchair quarterback" we conclude that even the pros make many mistakes. Since baseball and all other sports are very "reactive" an expert in my my mind is one with knowledge but even more important has the ability to communicate that knowledge into reactive play.
