Congrats to your son, Jim. My son plays for Elgin and I spent the week there. Jim had a great WS and deserved his All-Tournament honors. I enjoyed watching him play the game...solid to spectacular in all phases.

GRCC was pretty tough and that kid Eric Lawrence can deal a nasty FB and slider. Tough facing that kid.

It's great to see two solid teams from IL with strong representation from the Chicago area perform so well against the best. 2nd for Parkland and 3rd for Elgin is nice to see.
