My son played against Joe Adell growing up. Set a record maybe at PBR for velo. I kept track of him through High School. Numbers were impressive vs HS pitching. Touched his foot in the biggs, but so far that's about it. So many others around us that were drafted AA was the ceiling for them. If you are talking about making it to the show, doesn't matter what you did off at some event, or hitting HS pitching, or some bat speed numbers, taking that last step vs MLB level pitching is really f'ing difficult.
