My two cents.......Do you know if baseball is a "hook" into Navy admissions as it is with many other high academic schools? I'm asking because I don't know the answer, and I'm guessing you don't know either. As others have suggested, contact the Navy recruiting coordinator/head coach to give you the answer and possibly save you $1K. If Navy Is running a prospect camp that may be enough exposure to get in front of the Navy baseball decision makers. I'm willing to bet the Navy Admissions folks are more concerned with big picture items than baseball players. If you are dead set on Navy, then I would do everything that needed to be done to get accepted with or without baseball.
If there is some doubt about your desire to attend Navy or any other school, HeadFirst or PG Academic will give you exposure to many, many great academic schools that you may be able to choose from.
