I attended the event and thought that it was well organized. I wish that as was mentioned earlier that the catchers had a little more room, my back was right up against the screen. I also wish that they would have used a facility that was large enough to do catcher pop times and not just velocity. Are they really able to get a good evaluation like this or do they just bring us catchers in because we are necessary so everyone can look at the pitchers? I am trying to decide if I should attend the Pitchers and Catchers Showcase on February 28. This is in Cedar Rapids, do they have enough room there for pops. This is still a down period for D1, is that correct? Has anyone attended this showcase in the past? Playhard really looked to be enjoying himself evaluating the catchers.
