thanks for the reply - it's good to hear that type of feedback. as for the experience from the players' standpoint, i would agree 100%. although my son did not get a lot of playing time, he still benefits from the self confidence gained by letting only one batter past first base, other successes, that sort of thing. i guess from all the marketing materials, etc, though, i had developed some unrealistic expectations going in.
