What a spring! It was so filled with promise. (I was looking for something else but stumbled on this. rolleyes )

I booked my hotel and flight for Arizona and a week later my son tells me of a small pain that he thought he was done with after last season. It turns out he cracked a rib which showed up again as he was prepping for this season. He would miss most, if not all of spring training.

Since we were already committed on flights and a rental car, we decided to go anyway. It turned out to our advantage since he was more available than other trips. From a baseball standpoint, we got to one game after a couple days of non-baseball activity. The next two days were rainouts and then the season was postponed.

The good news is that TMM should soon be able to compete for the opening day roster if the season ever gets under way.
