Same thing my son was told with regard to his curveball when he was a HS soph....it was just too slow. He picked up the velocity on the curve...and even after losing some movement found he was getting a lot more outs due to the speed increase. Also, I think I would probably show a couple pitches from the windup
That's another battle! He was never, and I do mean never, a wind up pitcher. He is just so uncomfortable with the foot work. Maybe we'll work on it this winter, just doing the footwork and motion, no throws for awhile.
