Several families stayed at August Lodge the year we went. We stayed nearby (in a house shared by 3 families, Annie's Place, I think it was called, with the fields just past our back yard!) AL seemed to be nice, expensive. No complaints from our team, but did hear one from a friend that stayed there the same week. We also had friends stay on a lake so that their non-playing children could fish.
There is a great place to pick blueberries nearby AL. Packed them in a container for the ride home and wished I had also gone earlier in the week!
