I didn't mind playing on a bad D3 team because I wasn't very good myself. I was just grateful to be on the team. Hardly threw at all freshman year but was the # 1 or #2 starter the next three years. Loved the game, loved competing. Wish I could start one more game on the mound, and then one more after that, and another, and.....
