Yes, he had some serious tools. We selected him to the very first Aflac Game in 2003.

His biggest problem is he hasn't really produced as expected with the bat in Pro Ball. Not sure you could call him a washout. The Phillies picked up another first rounder by trading Golson for John Mayberry Jr in 2008.

We sure graded tougher back in 2002...
