One offer D1 (preferred walk-on) came summer before Sr. year at their camp. 1 month before NLI of his Sr. year received phone call from Mid-Major D1 (saw him at their camp a few months earlier ). Offer presented over the phone, son in his wisdom asked if he can let him know by 72 hrs after he speaks with us. Within 1 hour his 2nd Mid Major D1 offer came in via phone. Son said he will let him know within 72 hours, not mentioning anything about his prior call. Makes you kind of wonder if big ears are lurking around at the schools (son did not post anything on social media). Son accepted first offer since school was a HA D1, a few hours drive from home. Probably the best decision he has ever made since that started in motion his baseball career. Son was worried and nervous that he would not get a D1 offer since his high school teammates already gave their verbals. Nothing like waiting until almost the end!
