Pitching coach tracked my son down in the parking lot after a showcase at Iowa and said "we need you in a Hawkeye uniform. Are you coming to our camp next week?"

I had previously figured they weren't really interested and said we were done with camps.

Went home, registered, son is wrapping up his freshman year there. Parking lot visits do happen, and they're kind of cool.

Congrats on both boys. Cool story.
