Winnacunnet won 3-2 against Manchester Central on Wednesday. Winnacunnet's Brent Edmunds out-dueled Central's Kevin Veilleux on the mound. Both pitchers went the full 7 inning but Edmunds' 7 strike-outs, 2 walks and 1 earned run helped Winnacunnet get the win. Edmunds also hit two line-drive singles off Veilleux. One in the 5th to tie the score 2-2. Brian Klapes connected in the bottom of the 7th and hit in the go ahead run. It was a great game.
