How quickly things change. We've gone from titles from 2006-2010 & best and deepest staff in baseball to lets blow this team up. Disappointing year but I think lots of fans are overreacting.
This is a team that will miss playoffs by a handful of games. Fine, fine line between winning and losing when you have the talent the Sox have.
A normal Buehrle year and they're in. If Cott's is just average they're in. A couple bloopers, breaks, & calls and they're in. Granted, they don't deserve any of the aforementioned after last years mystical intervention.
Certainly, have to make decisions on some guys but they are reasonably young and healthy with a lineup many teams would like to have. Maybe they come back with more purpose next year. Is Detroit for real? I wouldn't have minded at all if the Sox went 0-162 this year but I respect their organization and talent. Too soon for wholesale changes.
