All your doing there is putting doubt in the runner on seconds mind on what the pitch is. Set up late to not give up location. Have an indicator on which sign is hot and location. Example 1st sign if touch head first. 2nd sign is hot if touch head second. You can come up with whatever works for you. You don’t have to make it complicated.
