Sacrificing, grinding, working to improve...and

You wake up and read that in the 5th round the Atlanta Braves select an outfielder from the University of Oregon.
Wait, U of O doesn't have a baseball team. Did they mean OSU??
Nope, taken in the 5th round by the Braves is a young man who is a quarterback on the U of O football team. He has not played baseball since high school.
So much for baseball being a game of repetition.
So much for heart, grinding, sacrficing, working to improve and the like.
Who can figure out this thing they call the draft???

'You don't have to be a great player to play in the major leagues, you've got to be a good one every day.'
