First of all, you're not going to want to stay anywhere near St. Mary's Univ., as it's in a rough part of town. Second, while the Riverwalk is very nice, I doubt you can get anything for $80 or less. Your best bet is to find a hotel in the area between Loop 410 on the south, Loop 1604 on the north, Highway 281 on the east, and Interstate 10 on the west. Hampton Inns are usually very nice and might cost a bit over $80, but perhaps you could negotiate a group rate for less -- plus, a full breakfast is included.
