I don’t know if you’re talking about HS baseball, but whether you are or not, here’s something you may find useful.

For S&G, go to http://www.maxpreps.com/high-s.../baseball/roster.htm

That’s the MaxPreps roster for a HS team. Open Microsoft Notepad, then select and copy the roster from MP, and paste it into Notepad. Make any modifications necessary, I delete all the info other than the name and number, then save it and import it into your software if it has an import function.

If you can’t find the team on MP, its prolly on some other local service, and it’ll work the same way.
