They come and they go, they come and they go. They don't come to see if your son wins or loses, actually most of them could care less. If your son handled the situation well last night that is a plus in his favor. They are looking for velocity, mechanics, projection, movement and command of several pitches and how he handles himself when things aren't going well for him or the team (trust me I know that one well). Don't worry, if it is meant to be it will happen.
