Well now, let me think about what I have to do Friday ...
starting the day with breakfast out with hubby, then coming home to get ready for the big opening day of the '04 season. Son was here for dinner tonight and a relaxing evening in front of TV, watching a very funny movie with his family (and future family), getting tons of advice from Dad about tomorrow's event. Dad reminds him to eat a good lunch (he has classes tomorrow but is going to miss the last one to get ready) and Son looks at me and says ... Have I ever pitched before? Banter went back and forth and we were all very relaxed and laughing a lot with each other. Something tells me Son is ready for some baseball.Please send good thoughts and wishes our way.
By the way ... what an impressive start for the freshman Brennan Boesch. Wow ... bet he was floating 3 feet off the ground. And won't you be glad to have some offense like that behind your pitcher next year?
