I am so grateful for the response that has been generated here from everyone. Baseball will make you supersticious and I am probably more supersticious than anyone with respect to baseball. It is a fickle sport. When things are going good, I swear my feet don't touch the ground. There have been times however when I am not sure if there is any more base hits left in the tank and when the next one is coming frankly.

I don't want to sound greedy or ungracious but the goal is one level higher. We are thrilled with the break he has received but still fighting, clawing, and scratching for that elusive goal that may or may not come. Its been years in the making and just maybe, maybe he'll be fortunate enough to hear his name called one more time.
