jlaro....by all means....shoot some video, post it to youtube or vimeo and then email any/all coaches your son is interested in with info and a link to the video. My son's video is still getting a couple looks/week even though he committed the end of July. It can't hurt...when we did it last fall, we sent it to 100+ coaches...and never once had a coach tell us he was upset to get the video. It's link...not a DVD...so it's very, very simple for them to look at. We did ours at our local HS...showed him at SS, OF, C and P. Also showed him hitting. 4-5 minutes is plenty. If you know someone who can do a quick edit to get rid of the misplayed balls or swinging strikes it won't cost you a dime. Coaches are pretty good at recognizing talent...especially now that he's a senior. You'll know pretty quick what they are thinking. I would get it done TODAY...as there is still an opportunity to get in front of any coaches that may show interest...either at their camp, or maybe in a fall showcase that they'll attend.
