birdman14, the Division I recruiting rules changed recently. September 1 of HS junior year now is not only when recruits (in most, but not all, Div. I sports) can start to receive e-mails from coaches, but they can now also receive recruiting calls and text messages from coaches. In addition, the number and frequency of calls is up to the discretion of the various Div. I schools.
