Most showcase teams go by graduation year. Such as 2010 teams , 2011 team , 2012 team , etc etc. It is not uncommon for players to play up a year and some to play down a year. When you go to certain tourneys there will be age requirements. But for most showcase tourneys there are no requirements. WWBA events allow players to play up but not play down in age.
