Agree with all the posts—as Hokie and Smoke said above for us the best advice was honestly answering the question “if baseball doesn’t work out, would you still go to that school?” This seemed as important as the statement “go where you are loved.”
Early on we received advice to ensure all communication (written, text, phone, in-person) to the coach went through the player.
