18 yo, who's game is speed, jammed his thumb earlier this year that put him out for a while. This is one of a long line of nicks that he has gotten while stealing/baserunning. I've been promising to get him a some hand protection, and all I've found that totally wrap the hand(he has also had his throwing hand and fingers stepped on) are products by Benik 1317 and Pro 772 sliding mitt http://www.proorthopedic.com/pro772slidingmitt.aspx. Feedback appreciated if you have any experience with these, or any other like products. Kind of surprised that Evoshield or Under Armour has nothing like them.
