I always remind my son that baseball can be a cruel game....hit it square - great line drive and you get an out. Horrible swing, hit it off the end of the bat and it falls in for a hit. Go figure.

In truth we all know if you keep hitting the ball well good things will happen - kinda hard for a smart kid who is keeping his batting average in his head.

I take it your son is a catcher, have him concentrate on that - the hits will come. Have a great season.
