We stayed for a few days at the Embassy Suites downtown @250, then we moved to a Best Western for 100 a night a bit farther away. The Hilton (where son was staying) wanted 200 but could only accomodate us for one night. That was in '06. I am going to imagine with the stadium downtown the prices will be outrageous.

Don't et me wrong, Rosenblatt was way outdated, we had to wait forever in lines for food, the store over crowded, the breezeways dark, but that went with the experience. JMO.

Will the Omaha Royals be playing in the new stadium. What else are they planning to do with the facility?

I was calling Omaha today, got a lady on the phone, asked "what do you think of the new stadium". To which she replied, "what new stadium".

Many of the businesses I call are mom and pops in town and now out of business.
