Reply to "Son taller than mom and dad?"

I'm 5'8" and my husband is around 6' (or so). Our 16 yr old is 6'3". He seems to need more sleep when he's in a growth spurt. Size 14 shoe(snow shoes).(He's always been in the 95% in age group for size).
He eats like a horse (or would eat a horse if it wandered into the kitchen). Winter he seems to gain weight, because he's working out and eating. Hovering between 215-217lbs.
Don't know if he'll grow more, but he shaves because then he can say ,"I shave, " not because he needs to.
By the way, my husband refuses to admit that kid is taller. Even stands on his tip toes. Sad isn't it?
