I guess you could say PT isn't resting either. Dr said he could hit if he had no pain. He didn't swing the bat for 6 weeks while in PT and only started to swing when he started throwing. Was still doing PT as of last Friday and is scheduled tomorrow. Doubt the two are related since hitting wasn't bothering him.
