Baseballfan777, Haven’t seen the degrading before? From what I have heard, Coach Todd does not have a lock in the Southeastern District on the characteristic of being degrading towards players. I hear there are a few coaches like that, at least three of which coached at the same SED school at one point. And I have been told that the foul language of one of those coaches, which does violate VHSL rules, was quite audible by spectators at the 2009 SED district tournament. If students used the language in schools that these coaches spit at the players, they would be summarily suspended. People do not perform to their potential when being degraded, be it in the work place or on the ball field.
