Oscar Smith's season so far:

Only all-district player junior 2B Steven Lorkiewicz jammed shoulder in game 5 sliding into 3B (he is out until the middle of May at least)! Transfer from Massachussets senior pitcher/outfielder (was throwing 85-87) broke his wrist in practice diving for a ball after 2nd game of season! Returning sophomore catcher quit before season started! Junior outfielder has tendonitis in both feet! Senior relief pitcher broke his nose this week!

The team is still playing 4 sophomores and now a freshman catcher! the infield was not deep before Lork got hurt and now its worse. I guess good news is there are only 2 seniors playing alot of innings!
