Just seeing this thread. My 2021 RHP throws 82-85 with a FB spin rate maxing out at around 2200. What's odd to me is his curveball, which is pretty good and effective, has a really low spin rate at around 1600. His change is his best pitch. In some ways, he profiles like a crafty lefty, with a sneaky fastball that rides and a change that acts almost is like a splitter. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for improving the spin on his curve. I think if he could figure that out, it would differentiate the sneaky fastball and plus change and make him better overall. Any advice would be great.
