Secondly, grab those computer kids and don't let go. I've got more work for them. Since you have a lot of kids with mom or dad deployed, or just too busy at work, can you get some of your events on the internet- ustream them, or something? Doesn't have to be just baseball and football. Maybe, basketball, softball, the school play... From what I understand, the basic software is free.
Lastly, are you still gonna teach history?
Thank you very much and it's like you can read my mind. Pretty much everything you said is what I'm hoping to accomplish. We may not get it done next year but I'm going to do everything I can to at least have a plan in place. We are starting a class next year that is dealing with videos and such so that's the class I'm hoping to go through with videos and play by play on as many athletic events as we can. We are just a few miles from Camp Lejeune so we have a ton of kids that have families deployed and this would be a great way to keep them connected. I want to show the video live and then have it as a download file for those who can't watch it live. I'm going to try and get that done for the fall but if not it will be something to build towards.
I am still going to teach history and coach. I'm going to have a pretty full plate next year but it's good to challenge yourself every so often to keep the fire going.
Clemson896 - thanks for the site. It's another good looking one. I like the pics of all the guys who are signing their LOI. Might be borrowing that.
