Guess I read the post wrong, Oops. Anyhow, my 06 is on ADD meds and it makes all the difference in the world. If your son's friend has the diagnosis, it's worth trying the meds. Worst that can happen is they don't work. I think our experience is that our son learns (ADHD) when he's not "in control" and that he needs to focus more (in behavioral terms).
