Started out pitching in a small, mediocre(baseball wise) D 3 in MN. In his words, he was a AA youth baseball player who couldn't hit, and didn't throw very hard. He was throwing mid 80's with the Gophers, I believe. Kicked around in Independent Ball...few years later he was closing for one of the all time great pitching staffs in Atlanta.
Son played with a pitcher last fall who hits 92-3 mph, with good location and breaking stuff. Now committed to a P5 school. He didn't make Varsity as a Junior.
