Summer Ball Crunch Time

It is the witching hour for Collegiate Summer Leagues-college seasons are ending, injuries that have hung around for 2 months are just being revealed, grades are hammering the academically lazy, girl friends are asserting their....authority...so roster spots are opening. If you haven't caught on where you want, it's a good time to inquire again.   One team in our league is advertising for pitchers on Facebook (if interested, PM me and I can provide contact info). 45 days ago, we had 39 players for a 30 man roster; now we've lost some to injury, a couple to the Cape, etc., and needed to sign a temp catcher and a temp outfielder as all of our catchers and 3 outfielders will probably be in NCAA Regionals.  Fortunately my son is our GM and does all of the player stuff. With my wife being the co-housing coordinator, and our GM having to shuffle his deck every couple days, looking forward to our opener, and hopeful that wife and son don't kill each other first. A huge issue is always cars-every player has to have one, or be housed with another player that does, so it gets tricky.  Our GM's first question is "Can he play?" ...my wife' first question is "Does he have a car?"
