The Swingaway was over twice as expensive as the solohitter.
Our HS program owns both, I own a solohitter. The Solohitter lasted about 1 season when the entire team was using it.
So if you are looking at it for a team I would go with the Swingaway.
However I have two boys (i 1 currently playing college, the other varsity) who took about 200 swings a day on the solohitter for the past 6 years and it is still in great shape. So for home use I would recommend the solohitter( unless money isn't an issue)
