You are correct as far as the main reason there aren't any MLB Catchers, but in little league and even through High School, if the kid has all the intangibles of a good Catcher it is very possible.

I'm not saying it is the best thing to do, but it can be done. Would it be more difficult? Yep! But it is possible.
