I have had the absolute delight of meeting actually a fair number of websters, both men and women. What a hoot, as they say. And it's funny, with only one rare exception because I didn't know her at all, it was as if I had known the websters forever. We truly were friends.
I do recall a couple of years ago, someone suggested a webster convention and of course, due to logistics it didn't happen. But wouldn't it be great if it could? I bet that so much of the bickering and nastiness would end because we would actually know that there was a real live person behind the screeen name......And this year, with gas prices and the economy in the condition that it is, probably wouldn't be the time to suggest it.....
