Reply to "Throwing wet baseballs"

.

Welcome to the HSBBW DT2. Having been born and raised in Tillamook (100"+ rainfall annually) I know something about 'wet'.

Concerning your question...
"Are there any tricks to making good, quick throws when the ball is wet and slippery?"

If you can get everyone to agree to it have those soaking wet, sloppy games played with this...

It takes a little getting used to, but after awhile the ball, when thrown, seldom ends up over the backstop or in the dug out. And they're easy to dry out...just hang 'em from a hook anywhere in the dug out. Necessity truly is the mother of invention.
