Timing for Corners

2014 son is developing more power and getting bigger, so he is being looked at by some as a SS and others as a corners guy. I am betting on 3rd or UTL in college if mid to big D1. I know this is not the best for his perceived value in the recruiting process, but it is reality. Can anyone tell me their experiences with corners being recruited? At what point in HS did they get the most interest? What kind of offers? Other important details to keep in mind?
