bballhp07, That day when you next pick up a ball to play catch will be a day you'll remember for a long time. When my son was able to finally throw again, I don't know which one of us had the bigger grin.

I expected this awkward and weak throw. Instead, his first throw at about 30-40 feet hit me right in the chest and stung my hand a bit. Concerned that he'd thrown it with a bit of steam, I asked him how his arm felt. "Strange dad." When I asked him what that meant, he said it felt strange for his arm to feel so good throwing a ball again!

He made about 20 throws and said "I'm done." It was a good start on the road back.
