Examining the season stats of a professional baseball player who just got a $3 million dollar signing bonus isn't exactly the same as getting on some high school kid for being overweight, is it? I mean, if you're a professional baseball player, and some rando dude on a message board says your stats were subpar, and that gets under your skin, you're in the wrong line of work. Try warming up in the visiting bullpen at Fenway Park. Now, that's uncalled for... But, baseball fans discussing your stats on Baseball Reference? That's not unusual.
