Just a short general comment on small samples: I don't see anything concerning, power and babip are low but strikeout to walk rate is OK. Plate discipline numbers are much more telling in a small sample than power and batting average data which has a large luck component.
A couple extra fly balls being caught at the warning track will have a big influence on batting average and power over such a small sample.
My focus is more on the organization than the player in situations like this one. When it's a 1st rounder, there's always other options. My curiosity is more on the decision making of the drafting team. If this was a 25th round pick, nobody cares.
