The vast amount of basketball recruiting in the past by certain private schools in Chicago has resulted in everyone becoming a cynic in this area. (Now they just transfer willy nilly each year from one private school to the next or private to public.) No matter how justified someone may feel about the need for tranfering, their attempt to switch from public to private will be examined very closely by those who have to approve it. Not worth the effort.
