I have a friend who has a franchise of a national team. Runs practices at the local city park for ages 8-18u. I think he clears around $25-30k 3 times a year (spring, summer, fall). It's not a lot, but not bad for a guy that just wants to coach baseball for a living and doesn't really have any other marketable skills.
