Guys, I'm a new poster to this forum but I've been reading it for a while. You are all AWESOME in you rules explanations!

I am hoping that you can explain this one to me. Last Saturday, during the warm-up between innings, I walked to the mound to coach my pitcher a little (13u). The umpires told me that there are some in the league that would consider that a mound visit.

In the 38 years I have been around baseball (playing/umpiring/coaching) I have NEVER heard that. Is there a rule in the books to support that position? What are your takes on that interpretation?
